Double-blind policy
ODeLAN uses double-blind peer review. The manuscript file sent to reviewers has author names, affiliations, acknowledgements and funding removed. Reviewers must not attempt to identify authors, and must not share the manuscript.
Review criteria
- Originality and contribution to African ODeL research or practice
- Soundness of method, sampling, and analysis
- Clarity of argument, structure, and APA 7th referencing
- Significance for ODL centres, policy, or learners
- Ethical adequacy, including plagiarism and human-participant protections
Score each criterion from 1 (weak) to 10 (excellent). Provide comments to the author and confidential comments to the editor.
Timeline
Reviews are expected within 2–4 weeks of assignment. If you cannot meet the deadline, decline promptly so the editor can reassign. A Certificate of Reviewership is issued when a completed review is submitted.
Recommendations
